Through GXG Media, both me and Leo Meares collaborated on Keelan X’s music video, for a cover of the Eurovision winning song, What’s Another year, originally sung by Johnny Logan. For the overall ‘vibe’ of the music video we wanted solid blocked shadows and an 80’s colour scheme. I had a great time playing around with this style, especially hiding as many 80’s references in the opening shot as possible.

For Keelan X’s character, we were aiming for an anime inspired look. Initially we gave him a more grown up appearance, but as development went on, he turned into a more childlike persona, settling for an 80’s inspired jacket with a studded belt for a ‘cool’ factor.
